Our Trip

Well, we made it back from our vacation. Here are a few words to describe how it went FUN, exhausting, cold, and more FUN!!! We left Thursday night and stayed at my Aunt Tresa's house and then the next day we left for Wisconsin. The car ride was somewhat boring but I made it through. My cousin, Ollie, rode with us for part of the trip and he told me all sort of different stories and tales. He sure does have a lot to say. But we also decided to sleep some of the way. And then my cousin, Tori wanted to ride with me and we got to play a little too.
Just to remind everyone, the lodge that we stayed at has this huge indoor waterpark. Mom would tell me that this place was big, but I didn't think it would be this big. It was HUGE. There were all sorts of waterslides, a kiddie pool area with all sorts of neat gadgets, a lazy river, water shooting up out of the floor and then this huge bucket that fills up and then dumps water all over you. My favorite was the kiddie pool area and then relaxing on the lazy river. The kiddie pool area had some Jumperoos that you could sit in and then you could jump and splash your feet while sitting. This was perfect for me although mom had to help hold my head. They also had a seesaw that goes in and out of the water that was fun. And then thanks to my Aunt Annie she took me down a slide. But the part I enjoyed the most was sitting in moms lap and floating around the lazy river in our innertube and then watching my cousins, Ollie and Tori run around crazy and getting water dunked on their heads by the big bucket.
Mom, dad, Uncle Huts, Aunt Annie, Ollie and Tori all went skiing the next day. Dad really wanted to take me out skiing with them and see about getting on the snowmobile for a little bit, but it was just to darn cold. Saturday morning when they left it was 10 degrees. That is just too cold for me~~~brrrr. So I got to hang out with my other cousin Eli who is 6 months old. It was a lot of fun. Although we had some disagreements on toys a few times. I sometimes had a toy that Eli would want so he would roll over to me and try and take it but I would hold my ground and not want to share, which led to Eli getting mad, which then turns into me getting mad because I don't like it when other kids cry (it makes me upset). So we bashed it out a few times but it was all in good fun. I guess I need to learn to share. Once everyone got back from skiing we went back down and enjoyed the waterpark. That was always the highlight of everyday. Another exciting thing that they had at the lodge was storytime at night. They had storytime with Chip the beaver for whoever wanted to come and he would read everyone a story while we enjoyed a glass of milk and cookies.
We came home on Sunday, which means back to reality tomorrow. I got to spend one more day at home with mom to recoop. It was a short vacation but well worth it. I'll download some pictures later.

That's OK Tyler, I think sharing is overrated, too. I'm glad you had fun on your trip!
