Weekend getaway

This weekend I got to go to on a little short trip. Mom had to work and dad was helping my grandpa on the farm. So I had nobody to watch me except grandma who was going to St. Louis. So Friday, grandma picked me up from the babysitters and off we went. We went to my Aunt Jen's house and spent the night and then came back home on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. I got to stay up later than normal too and also sleep in on Saturday. Although I had a surprise visitor wake me up. Aunt Jen's dog, Daisy, decided to come into the room and give me a morning kiss and lay his head on my stomach. Apparently everybody thought it was pretty cute looking but I just wanted to sleep some more.
Maybe this little getaway will get me better prepared for our trip in February. We are finally going on a family vacation. We are going to Wausaw, WI (about 8-9 hours). Mom and dad are going to go skiing one day and hopefully we can find a place where we can go tubing/sledriding. And the place where we are staying at has an indoor waterpark. We are going with my aunts, uncles and cousins. It's going to be so much fun!
I also want to give a shout out to my cousin, Luke. He turned 6 years old today.

This is another photo from Christmas, my cousins and I were playing in our fort we built.

Thanks for letting me know about the Nuk brush! We'll have to try that!

I'm so glad ya'll are going to go on a family vacation. We went to Dallas (4 hours away) over Christmas and it felt so good to bring Cameron. That was our first time bringing him somewhere other than his grandparents house. It just felt so "normal".

There's nothing like the connection between a little boy and a dog. As much as our dog is a pain sometimes, hearing Cam laugh when Buster scratches his ears makes it all worth it. (I'll try to remember that the next time I find him sleeping on my pillow.)
