Allergic Reaction

Apparently I am allergic to something but I am not sure what it is. My Aunt Tori had a surprise XXth (I better not say how old, I want to stay on her good side) birthday party Saturday night that I went too. I was just hanging out with everyone and then we ate. I ate some potato salad and pork 'n beans. Some time had passed and all of a sudden my eye started itching. Shortly there after, my eye started to swell up and these little, white bumps started forming around my eye. I was a little scared, because I didn't know what was going on. Mom was too. One moment I could look out of my eye and the next I couldn't even open my eye. I had no idea what was going on. So dad got a cold washcloth and held it over my eye. That felt a little better but I kept trying to pull it off because I just wanted to itch it. Mom also gave me some Benedryl to help the swelling go down. By the time we went home, I could finally open my eye. And before I went to bed, it looked much better. The picture was taken right before I went to bed. Which looks pretty good considering what it looked like before. This morning I was back to normal. Which was good because it was so pretty outside that I spent a lot of the day outside working on my tan.

Human Drum

You know how I like to hit stuff with my drum stick, it usually ends up being a drum or one of my other toys. Well lately, I have found out that I am a good drum. I like to hit my stomach with my drumstick. It sounds kind of hollow at times. Another part of my body that I like hit is my teeth. Mom ends up taking my drumstick away from me as soon as I start doing that though. I just can't help it sometimes. I am just trying to find some new cool sounds that I can make with my drumstick.
Don't I look so big in my chair. I decided to do a little, light reading the other day.

Great Easter

I had a great Easter. We went up to my Aunt Jen and Uncle Jason's house in St Louis on Sunday. She gave me an easter basket with a lot of cool stuff in it. We hung out for awhile but then the coolest thing happened. Uncle Jason has a neighbor who collects old cars and makes them look all nice and shiny again. Well, we got to look at all of them and I even got to sit in one of them. He had all sorts of different ones but the coolest one was a '62 Corvette. So that is the one I picked to sit in. Dad thinks we should get one of them and says he will someday. Mom says we'll see.

New Record

I finally broke a record. I weighed myself last night and I finally hit the 20 pound mark. I weigh 20.5 lbs to be exact. I knew I was growing because my appetite has been out of control. I just want to eat, eat, and eat. But now my goal is the 25 lb mark. Hopefully I will just take off and go thru a big growth spurt. We will see.

My Stander

I finally got my new stander yesterday. I wasn't to sure about it at first, but I think I will grow accustomed to it eventually. Some of you guys might not know what a stander is, but it is another device that will help me get stronger. It straps me in very tight while I am standing up, so I can put weight through my legs. It will hopefully make my legs stronger so I can be able to use them more. It has a tray in the front so I can play with my toys while I am in it.

Big Appetite

I have developed a huge appetite lately. I really love pancakes for breakfast. I usually only eat one pancake and that fills me up. But the other day, mom was feeding me a pancake, and I ate the whole thing. But I wanted more. So mom got me another pancake, she didn't think I would eat much more. She thought maybe and few more bites, but I showed her and ate the entire thing. I have even been eating more at lunch and supper. I ate almost an entire burrito from Taco Bell the other night and not just a little kiddie burrito but a BIG burrito. Mom is hoping that with this appetite that I have, I will get some more meat on my arms and legs.
As you can see from the picture, I love my mirror. I really like chewing on it. Mom and dad are thinking they are going to have to get another one to replace the one I have, because it gets really nasty. I slobber all over it and sometimes it starts stinking. Mom throws it in the wash machine every now and then.

Mouse squeaks

Things have been going pretty good around here. Everyone is pretty much over there colds and have moved on. I have been making a new sound lately. I used to talk and say 'dada' all the time. I still say it on occassion, but now when I say it, I say it in a high pitched voice...kind of like a mouse. I say it that way just to be funny. And sometimes when I try to talk, nothing even comes out. Mom and dad thinks it sounds kind of funny and always tell me to talk in my normal voice. But I am just trying new things. I have to experiment to learn, right?

Too Big For Naps

I have decided that I am too big for naps, especially when I'm at Ms Becky's. I rarely take naps at the babysitters and if I do take a nap it is usually only like 10-20 minutes. I sometimes take a nap when I am at home but don't count on anything. I am still in a good mood even if I don't take a nap, but I am exhausted in the evening. The other night I wanted to go to bed at 6:30 but mom said that was too early. So she tried to keep me up until 8:00. The results of no naps during the day means sleeping through the night. So mom isn't too upset at me, except when I try to go to bed at 6:30.
