Our New Home
So we have finally settled into our temporary new home. I wasn't too sure in the beginning, mom walked me around the new place and showed me each room and telling me this was our place now. My eyes were as wide as could be and I kept making my surprised sound as we went into each room. She then took me to see my new room and what did I see, my race car bed and I just smiled really big. I was so glad to see something familiar. I have adapted very well to the move and have been sleeping really well. I think it is much quieter at our new home since my room is in back of the house instead of the front like at our old house. Plus we live on a dead end street, so we don't have cars driving by. I think I am going to like it here.

MOVING!!
So if you haven't heard by now, let me tell you. WE ARE MOVING!!! We finally sold our house (after 8 months of being on the market). We have not found another house yet so we are going to rent a duplex for now. This way we can take our time finding the right house just for us. So the packing begins, we hope to be moved by this weekend.
You don't realize how much stuff you have until you start packing. As long as all my toys get packed I am good. Although that can take up several boxes. It's kind of funny how mom and dad's concept of packing are totally different. Mom has been packing stuff up for the past week and is trying to be as organized as possible. Dad's concept has been waiting until the last minute and then throw it into a box. So needless to say, dad hasn't help much as of yet, until tonight. We plan to start moving into the duplex tomorrow (Tuesday), so tonight we did some major packing and dad got into the grove of throwing everything into a box, including ME! Luckily he didn't tape it up. So wish us luck for a smooth moving process.

More progress
Slowly but surely I am getting stronger and stronger. So much that I have been able to sit in my Bumbo seat for 30 minutes at a time. Yes that's right...30 minutes!! The Bumbo seat only gives me trunk support and no head support at all and I am able to sit for at least 30 minutes. The entire time I am working hard to keep my head midline and not loose control. This is a huge step for me and we hope that this hard work will pay off.

What is it with balloons?
So I went to a birthday party a several weeks ago and when we left I got to take a balloon home. I'm not sure what it is about a balloon but they can entertain you for hours. They are so much fun. You can even rub them on your head and it makes your hair stand up. It doesn't work the best with my hair but it was pretty funny on mom. The only bad thing was I only got to play with it for only 2 days before it popped.
Also, it was time to change my background. I am ready for spring. I hope you like it!!

Fun in the snow, part 2
Here is a short video of me sledding with dad from the other day. If you listen closely, you can hear the excitement in my voice.

Fun in the Snow
We got dumped with about 8 inches of snow the past couple of days and the weekend finally came for me to play in it. I have never really experienced snow because it seems the last couple of years we have gotten ice instead of snow. So we ventured out and I wasn't to sure at first, especially when mom sat me down in it. I even made a snow angel. But then the best part of the snow was going sledding. We have a small hill on the side of our house that we tested and I got so excited every time mom or dad took me down. I absolutely LOVED it!! So on Sunday, we went out to my Grandma & Grandpa's farm and found a much bigger hill. My cousins, aunt & uncle and Grandma & Grandpa all joined in on the fun. We had so much fun!!

...and even Grandma.
My cousin, Drew
My cousin, Luke
Luckily we had a 4-wheeler to take us back up to the top of the hill.
It was a long way back up.

DVD player
The last gift that I am going to share is my personal dvd player. I love to watch movies and mom and dad thought that I could see them better if it was a little closer, because we are still not sure how well my vision is. And of course, I get to watch some of my favorites - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Kung Fu Panda.
I sometimes, well a lot of the times, like to grab the dvd player and get it closer. Mom and dad aren't sure why I do this. It looks like I may be getting it closer to see it better but most of the time I just try to lick it or chew on it. I am going through a phase of wanting to chew and lick everything that I can bring or comes near my mouth.

Sing-Along Stage
Another one of my Christmas gifts was a Fisher Price Sing-Along Stage. This is another one of my favorites. It has a mirror that I like looking into and has several buttons you can press and then plays music and lights up. I especially love these kinds of toys because of the cause-n-effect aspect of them. Which is great for me because when it stops playing music, I have to press another button for it to continue to play and I completely get it and I always immediately hit a button as soon as the music stops. Another cool thing about this toy is the microphone, it is sort of like a rattle and when you shake it, it also activates the toy and will begin playing music.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for some more.
