UGH!!

Rain Rain Go Away
We would like to build our house someday.

It has been raining cats and dogs here for the last week. And not just rain, but thunderstorms, hail and tornado warnings. Our towns tornado sirens went off 3 different days in the last 6 days. Luckily, we have not had any damage and no reported tornado's in our town.

But if this keeps it up, we may never get our house built. So far we have basement walls. The next step is to pour the concrete for the basement floor, garage and front porch. Once that is done, they can begin framing up the house. If only it would stop RAINING!!

I also want to wish everyone a Happy Easter.

Eye Surgery

Tyler's eyes are somewhat misaligned which has given him some difficulty with focusing. So today he had eye muscle surgery to correct this.

The surgery went well and we may not see results for a couple of days. He did great during the surgery. It was outpatient, so we arrived at 6:30 and left at 11:30. WOW!! That almost didn't feel right leaving the hospital on the same day and just after 5 total hours. But I'm not complaining :)

The tough part now is going to be keeping him from rubbing his eyes. The incision was made under the eyelid so that is somewhat of a barrier and is protecting them. But we still have to distract him from rubbing them.

So if you see Tyler in the next couple of days, don't think someone beat him up. Because his eyes are a little swollen and blood shot.

Tyler patiently waiting.

After surgery.
The picture isn't the clearest and really doesn't show how bloodshot they are.

Field Trip to LeBounce

Tyler's class took a field trip to LeBounce last week. Unfortunately, I was not able to help out and attend but Travis decided to fill in. They both had a blast!!! Tyler enjoyed bouncing, but enjoyed going down the big slide the most. One of Travis' co-workers heard that they were going to be at LeBounce and just bought a new camera and wanted to try it out. So he met them over there and took these great photos. Thanks Chuck for doing this. They turned out great!!

Tyler's Class

Take a close look at this picture.
He's on all fours. Doesn't it look like he could just take off crawling?

Time to Bounce!!

This next series of pictures is so cute. The first one kind of freaked me out when I first saw it, but Travis says it's the angle the picture was taken. It's really not that steep. Thank goodness.
It's time to slide.
This one looks much steeper than it really is too, at least that's what I'm told. LeBounce just opened and I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. But it looks like a lot of fun!!
Don't you want to go bounce now!!!
