Halloween Traditions

Every year we always carve pumpkins at my house. This year was a little different. We still got pumpkins but instead of carving, we decided to paint them and make monster pumpkins instead. Take a look at my masterpieces.

Every artist works best with their tongue out, right?

Are we done yet?

ROAR, it's scary!!

Prayer Request

My friend, Matthew, is back in the hospital. He has been having a LOT of seizures and the doctors can't seem to get them under control. He is in desperate need of prayers.

Hayride

This weekend was absolutely gorgeous. So Sunday, we spent most of the day outside. We had some business to take care of in the morning. My dad mowed the front yard for the last time this fall and then we raked and burned the leaves in the back yard. We bought pumpkins to carve later on this week. And then later that afternoon, my church had a hayride and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. It was such a fun weekend!
I'm not sure how the camera did not capture my smile, because mom said I was smiling the whole time. I really liked the bumpy ride.

Pajama Day

Sorry it's been awhile since my last update. There hasn't been to much going on, except I have been trying to fight off a cold for the past 2 weeks. Luckily nothing more than a cold though. But I am back to my normal self now. So, today was Pajama Day at my preschool and it was great. I should declare everyday to be pajama day. It's definately more comfortable.

disAbility Awareness Week

This week is disAbility Awareness week at my school, even several businesses in my town our participating. I'm not sure if everyone is aware of my friend, Melaina who passed away earlier this year. Her mom and dad had a vision of an All Accessible playground in this area. After she passed away, her parents still wanted to go forward with the playground in honor of their daughter. So this week, many of the proceeds will be going towards the playground. McDonald's in Jackson is participating and donating 10% of the proceeds from 4pm to 8pm, but only tonight (Tuesday, October 13). So if you are in the area and don't have other dinner plans, go to McDonalds.
